Updates to the iTunes Package Film Specification.

June 15, 2017

Japanese Timed Text Subtitles
You can now deliver Japanese subtitles as part of the Multiple Language File package. We’ve added Japanese specific support, which includes ruby and vertical subtitles. Titles should be delivered as part of the Multiple Language File (MLF) package if Japanese subtitled and dubbed assets are available. Note that the Japanese title must include (字幕/吹替) if Japanese subtitle and dub assets are available as part of the MLF package. See Overview of Japanese Timed Text.

Cue Sheets
Cue sheets have been added to provide a list of music played in a feature film. Cue sheets are optional and can be used to supply start time, duration, title, performers, and other details of a musical piece.
