Container Type field now available in Apple Music reporting

We are happy to announce that the Container Type field is now available in your reporting. This is the Container Sub-Type parent field, and helps you easily group different Container Sub-Type values into smaller categories. The Container Type field is now available in the Music Analytics API, as well as your Apple Music Summary Streams, Apple Music Container Summary, and Flagged Streams reports.

This update requires a new version for each of these reports: 

• The Summary Streams report has changed from version 1_1 to 1_2.
• The Container Summary report has changed from version 1_0 to 1_1.
• The Flagged Streams report has changed to v3.

You can currently access both versions of each report. The old versions will be removed on March 31, 2025.
