Music Analytics API: Detailed Results enhances audience engagement granularity
We are excited to announce Detailed Results, an all-new feature for the Music Analytics API, is now live for the audience engagement endpoint. Detailed Results provides more precise metrics, showing stream and listener counts down to the individual unit in cases where demographic data is not being used. Previously, these metrics were rounded to the nearest 50th. Now you can get the granularity of the Summary Streams report with the speed of the Music Analytics API. Some highlights of this new feature include:
- Precise metrics automatically enabled. Detailed Results is now active across all audience engagement queries with no opt-in or configuration required. When demographic data is not being used, you'll automatically receive exact counts instead of rounded figures. Rounding will be enabled when using age, gender, or consumer city in the API call.

Accurate stream and listener counts. Get metrics down to a single stream or listener, giving you the precision needed to provide accurate data to your customers and stakeholders.

Better visibility into catalog performance. With exact counts, you can now track performance with complete accuracy, identify emerging trends earlier, and make more informed decisions about your content strategy.
