Music Analytics API: ISRC and UPC

We are excited to announce two new dimensions for the Music Analytics API: ISRC and UPC. These additions give you greater precision when analyzing catalog performance, enabling you to query and group your analytics data at the individual recording and product level. Some highlights include:

  • ISRC: Filter and group your analytics by International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) to gain precise insights at the individual recording level. This enables cross-catalog analysis across different albums, compilations, or releases that share the same underlying recording.
  • UPC: Filter and group your analytics data by Universal Product Code (UPC) to analyze performance at the product or release level. Easily compare how different releases or editions of your catalog are resonating with listeners.
  • Layered Insights: Combine ISRC and UPC with existing dimensions like date range, storefront, and device type to build refined queries and reveal deeper patterns in your catalog.
