Updated Sales and Trends Processing Times and Apple Music Reports

Starting today, we're changing how we process sales data for Asia-Pacific countries. This will make data for transactions in these regions available to you sooner.

Asia-Pacific sales will now be processed in Japan Standard Time (JST), or Australian Western Standard Time (AWST), depending on the territory. Previously, these sales were grouped with territories that use Central Europe Time (CET), such as EU, Middle East, and Africa.

This means that transactions made in any of the below Asia-Pacific territories will now be reflected the next day, which is earlier than the current processing time of two days.

Territories which will now be processed in Japan Standard Time (JST):

Bhutan Brunei Darussalam Cambodia China Hong Kong India Indonesia Kazakhstan Korea, Republic Of Kyrgyzstan Lao People’s Democratic Republic

Macau Malaysia Mongolia Nepal Palau Philippines Singapore Sri Lanka Taiwan Thailand Vietnam

Territories which will now be processed in Australian Western Standard Time (AWST):

Papua New Guinea Solomon Islands

If you have a large volume of sales in any of these territories, please note the following:

• Expect to see a drop in the number of sales reflected in Sales and Trends as we make the transition on April 8. The data period that previously grouped Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific together into CET, will now exclude Asia-Pacific.
• Asia-Pacific sales during this time of transition will be reflected with JST or AWST, which come 8 hours earlier than CET.

Updated Apple Music Reports
To make it easier to analyze listener behavior, we've updated the following columns in Apple Music reports:

• Label. We've added this new column to help separate plays if you deliver content for multiple labels.
• Time Bucket. This now displays in the listener's local time zone, rather than UTC.
