Measuring Impact

Sales and trends

Admin, Finance, Legal, or Sales users can access Sales and Trends in iTunes Connect. If you are unsure if you have one of these roles, check your role in Users and Access. The designated Admin at your organization can grant new roles. A pending account message in Sales and Trends usually indicates that your updated user role is still being processed. If you’re seeing this message after 24 hours, contact us.

Depending on the type of content you provide, you may see different reporting tools. Here are the four main options in Sales and Trends:

  • Overview displays high-level performance metrics for your streaming or sales data based on set date ranges. You can filter this data by artist, territory, and a reporting end date.
  • Streams displays a graph of your streaming data. You can filter this data by territory, content, source of stream, and other dimensions. You can also select a custom time period.
  • Sales displays a graph of your sales data. You can filter this data by territory, content, transaction type, and other dimensions. You can also select a custom time period.
  • Reports gives you access to compressed ZIP files which contain more detailed data in a tab-delimited text file. Reports are available for specific days, weeks, months, or years.
