See your song stats and listener trends

Discovering trends in your artists’ statistics can help you unlock the potential of your music promotion. By discovering where your artists’ songs are most popular and among who, you can gain additional insights to help market and manage your current and future releases.

Viewing listener trends

To see trends within the Apple Music for Artists partner view:

1. Set your date range.

Use the menu in the right-hand corner to select your date range.

2. Choose which activity to trend.

Use the left-hand menu to choose Plays, Listeners, Radio Spins, Shazam Count, Song Purchases, Album Purchases, or Video Views. When filtering by listeners, you can see your daily unique listeners for the selected time frame by hovering over the graph’s trend line. All other metrics reflect daily overall counts.

3. Filter your data by gender, age, location, and more.

Use the other left-hand menu to see metrics by Song, Video, Album, Playlist, Gender, Age, Continent, Country or Region, or City.

4. Uncover deeper details.

Use the remaining menus to focus your view on specific songs, playlists, Shazam Count, locations, and demographics. Additionally, in the top-right of the graph, click the ellipsis to select the date type in which to view the metric (Days, Weeks, Months). More detailed counts and percentages are displayed below the chart.
