What are the steps to getting my movie content onto the iTunes Store?

First, you will need to agree to contracts for the territories in which you wish to sell your content in Agreements, Tax, and Banking of iTunes Connect. After you accept the agreements, complete any required banking and tax information (as indicated in Agreements, Tax, and Banking) by clicking the blue Set Up links next to each contract.

Video content will need to be delivered through one of Apple's approved encoding houses. Your content will be made available on the iTunes Stores where you have both territory rights (clearances) assigned to your titles and a fully processed contract for that specific territory, denoted by a contract being displayed in the "Contracts In Effect" section of Agreements, Tax, and Banking.

How much does it cost to sign up to offer my content on iTunes?

Signing up to offer your movies on iTunes is free. Additional details on the sales terms are available during the sign-up process.

How are prices determined?

Prices are based on the wholesale price you agreed upon with your iTunes business representative. You can refer to your contract to find the wholesale price. Pricing changes can be made either in iTunes Connect or via XML update.

How will I be notified of my application status?

You will be notified via email. Make sure your account is set up to receive email from do_not_reply@apple.com and check any spam filters on your email account.

If my application is accepted, in what countries or regions will my content be available?

After your application has been accepted, you can request contracts for all countries or regions in which the iTunes Store offers movies. When a contract for a specific country or region has been finalized and all other requirements have been met, content that has been delivered with territory rights cleared in that country or region may be made available there.
